		<description>Thanks for the tip Katja! I did not know the Mittleider method would be considered hydroponic as the roots can grow into the ground, but I can see how it would work well! The boxes I’ve built are full of compost, usually 18-24 inches of compost, and the size of the box often depends on the available materials that can be repurposed.</description>
